Overview

VinylScratch is a music instrument app for iOS. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data VinylScratch collects — which is none.

Data Collection

VinylScratch does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. Specifically:

No personal information is collected (name, email, phone, location)
No analytics or tracking SDKs are used
No usage data is sent to any server
No account or sign-in is required
No cookies or identifiers are used

Audio Files

All audio files you load into VinylScratch are processed entirely on your device. Audio data never leaves your iPhone. Recorded sessions are stored locally in temporary storage and are only shared when you explicitly choose to export them.

In-App Purchases

VinylScratch offers a one-time Pro unlock via Apple's In-App Purchase system. All purchase transactions are handled entirely by Apple. We do not have access to your payment information.

AUv3 Plugin

When used as an AUv3 plugin inside a host app (e.g., GarageBand), VinylScratch operates within the host's sandbox. No data is shared between VinylScratch and the host beyond the standard Audio Unit interface.

Third-Party Services

VinylScratch does not use any third-party services, SDKs, or frameworks that collect user data.
